Poros beach is located 40 km east of Argostoli. It is surrounded by an enchanting environment, starting from the mountainous greenery hillsides to the crystalline waters of the Ionian Sea, that attracts many sea lovers.
Poros beach is covered with white pebbles that join with the sea. Umbrellas and sundecks cover a small part of the beach, while the other remains unspoiled thus making it ideal for those who appreciate privacy. There is no water sport center available.
The city of Poros is quite famous for the picturesque settlement that lies around the natural bay. It is one of the island’s ports, located very close to the beach. It is also known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and the tourist infrastructure.
